Dateline for draft proposal- 25 Jan

On 25 Jan, our group handed in our draft proposal.

Third meeting- 24 Jan

Purpose of meeting: To collate the things that we have done into a completed draft proposal

On 24 Jan, we had completed the tasks that each of us were assigned with during the previous meeting. We decided to send the softcopy of our completed work to Pei Yu, who volunteered to put what we had done into the SIA proposal form provided. She also did some editing before printing the draft proposal out.

Second meeting- 22 Jan

Purpose of meeting: To allocate and complete jobs for doing the draft proposal

On 22 Jan, we met up to discuss who is going which part in the draft proposal which must be handed up on 25 Jan. We printed out the proposal form provided on the NYGH LMS and we read through it. We found out that we were supposed to research and include four things in the proposal: briefly describe the "green issue" chosen, the rationale for our group's choice of "green issue", the relevant physics principles related to the "green issue" and the list of sources of reference materials that could be used in our research. Since there are four things that must be completed for the draft proposal, we decided to take one each and do it. Thus, our job allocation: Pei Yu will research on the relavant physics principles involved.
Chin Wen will write the rationale for our group's choice.
Qianlin will briefly describe the chosen issue.
Janelle will list out the sources of reference materials that could be used in the project.

First meeting- 21 Jan

Purpose of meeting: To choose our topic

After we have chosen our groups, we were told that our draft proposal must be handed in on 25 Jan. On 21 Jan, we met up and we discussed on how we are going to do the draft. First, we selected an area of research, which is "clean water". We decided to do our project on NEWater treatment as we think that it is an useful topic to study because NEWater is quite important to Singapore in maintaining water availability. We also chose this topic because we think that NEWater is a term that we are most familiar with, thus it may be easier for us to absorb the information in our research.
